World heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury has recently shared some exciting news about his son’s newfound passion for boxing.
In a candid Twitter space discussion reported by News About Nigeria, Fury revealed that his two sons, 11-year-old Prince John James and six-year-old Prince Tyson II, have embarked on their own boxing journey, potentially following in their father’s footsteps.
Fury expressed his joy in seeing his kids having fun at the gym and emphasized his unwavering support for their dreams, affirming that he has no intention of impeding their choices when it comes to their future careers.
“I’ve got my oldest son, who’s 11, and my middle son, who’s six. They’re both in the boxing gym right now, starting their training. They’re young kids just having fun in the gym,” Fury shared during the Twitter space discussion.
He further stated, “If they want to pursue it as a career later on in life, then I’m fully supportive. Who am I to tell somebody not to do something, not to follow their dreams? I don’t believe in crushing kids’ dreams because I was once a kid with a massive dream.”
As the proud father of six children, with a seventh on the way, Fury acknowledged that he himself was once a big dreamer who faced widespread criticism but never gave up. Reflecting on his own experiences, he encouraged his children to follow their hearts and pursue their aspirations, highlighting his journey as a testament to the fact that dreams can indeed come true.
“I had an unreachable dream, and everybody told me it was a stupid idea. They said I wouldn’t make it, that I would waste my life and end up with nothing. But I didn’t believe any of them. I followed my dreams, followed my heart, and here I am today,” Fury shared.
