Tinubu Finally Returns to Nigeria (VIDEO)

The President-elect of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to the country after a vacation in France, News About Nigeria reports.

He arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja to a warm reception.

His campaign spokesperson, Festus Keyamo made the announcement via his Twitter page.

His tweet was accompanied with a video of Tinubu alighting from the airplane.

He captioned the video;

“The eagle has landed”.

Keyamo wrote in another tweet;

“Looking well relaxed and we’ll rested for the task ahead! May 29th loading!!!”

Tinubu left Nigeria on March 21 for France, with his campaign council stating that the trip was for him to take a break and plan ahead of his inauguration on May 29.

The APC presidential campaign council had explained in a statement that Tinubu had gone to France to rest and plan his transition programme after an exhaustive campaign and election season.

According to the statement, Tinubu had also traveled to London and was preparing to go to Saudi Arabia for Umrah (Lesser Hajj) and the Ramadan Fasting.

After his arrival at the airport, Tinubu was escorted to the Defence House in Maitama District of Abuja, where he will be staying temporarily before his inauguration as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on May 29, 2023.

Tinubu’s return to Nigeria marks an important step in the country’s political transition.

As President-elect, he will be responsible for leading Nigeria and tackling the various challenges facing the country.

Many Nigerians are eager to see how he will approach issues such as security, the economy, and social development.
